Welcome to The Oyster Inn. We offer luxury boutique accommodation and a fresh, unique restaurant experience in the heart of Waiheke Island, just 35 minutes on a beautiful ferry ride from downtown Auckland in the beachy village of Oneroa.

Take a seat on our ocean-view restaurant verandah or in our breezy dining room and savour our menu inspired by coastal classics, or just drop by and enjoy a cocktail or crisp glass of wine at our bar.

Arrive when you like, eat when you like - the kitchen is open all day. Pop in to check out our chic little beach shop, and if you love the island as much as we do and can't bear to leave, stay with us in one of our three charming hotel rooms.


During the winter season (Anzac Day to Labour Day) we are open 6 days a week, Wednesday to Monday, daily from noon. Closed Tuesdays.

Introducing THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY at the Inn, perfect for a boogie after dinner! Friday June 17th, 8.30pm to 11.30pm.


Our famous Sunday Roast returns this Sunday!

Come and get Ruckus with us at the Inn. This Sunday, David Ward, renowned for his award-winning work with the Indian Ink Theatre company and Double bass Eamon Edmundson-Well are the Ruckus duo. Fron 4-6pm Sunday 19th, only at the Inn. #oysterinn #livemusicsundaysession

And... Our Sunday Roast is lamb rump with roast winter veggies and duck fat potatoes. $28 per person, $50 for two. Complimentary dessert for every two roasts ordered for our local club members!
